Hello Simon,

Have both versions of your book, just heard that the Aries 1B model has been found as is  to be auctioned: saw the pictures and recognised several model kit parts on it from the 1/24th Revel Gemini kit and 1/48 Mercury capsule still glued in place. -amazing.  Sadly my model skills are deteriorating with my eyesight.  You never know,  other items may turn up?

I tried to buy a Atomic City  Discovery 5 ft model, but he wont sell unmade kits, only built.

Hi Simon, I was introduced to your work through Scott Alexander of Atomic City - I've been a firm fan ever since! Breathtaking detail.

As a model maker and artist myself your work has inspired and helped me no end.

I'm so pleased to find your webpage, and to know you're a Scot as everone seems to be based in the US :) who said surfing was a waste of time!

Happy new year to you and my very best wishes.

Russ

Your artwork and collaboration with Piers Bizony has been a fitting tribute to the "2001" phenonmenon and has kept the dream of space exploration alive for many. I think what you accomplished was historic and monumental, since the original models were mostly destroyed and it must have been a massive challenge to have the pod rise out of ashes like a phoenix-from-the-flames! Great work and continued success.

To say that I am impressed with your works would be a gross understatement. Thank you for showing us all "If we really went into space, this is near what it would look like." Since time and reality has changed our outlook, somewhat; my model of the Orion III wears Delta Air Lines livery (don't worry, the next one will wear what we used to call B. O. A. C.!) You, Sir, are quite impressive. Thank you, again.
